Sportsbetting - Winning Streak Continues

With Lopez defeating Ferrer yesterday, that brings it to four winning days out of four sports betting days! Let’s hope it continues.

Now yesterday I said that as the further we get into a tennis tournament, the harder it gets to find a good sports bet. Well despite this I believe we have a good sporting bet today.

The tennis match under scrutiny is Davydenko vs Lopez. Now Davydenko has an ATP tennis ranking of 5, whereas Lopez as we know is rated only 41. No contest?

Well, it might just be no contest, but not becuse of the rankings, but because of the head to head records between the two. They played three tennis matches previously, and Lopez has won all three!

Infact when the met in 2002 in Challengers and Futures Main Draw Lopez won as well! So that is four lifetime wins over Davydenko, and nothing in the debit column.

This would be a cracker of a bet except for one thing: the last meeting between the two was way back in 2004. A lot of water has gone under the bridge since then.

But from a sports betting, tennis trading point of view, this is a risk worth taking, because Lopez is available at 2.86, whereas Davydenko is at 1.55. So I am going to suggest a sports bet on Lopez @ 2.86.

For those with a nervous disposition, I suggest a trade out at a suitable point, probably around 1.40, “greening up” incase it all turns against us. I however intend to stay the course on this occassion.

Good Luck with your sports betting
