Jarkko Nieminen faces Oliver Rochus in the first round of the Dubai Tennis Championships  today. Looking at the rankings of the players, a win for Nieminen looks likely, but do the rankings tell the whole story? and is Nieminen a cracking Tennis sports bet?

Digging a little deeper we find that in thier head to heads, Rochus has won five and Niemenin three. Looking at the odds, we see that Niemenin can be backed at 1.61 and Rochus at 2.68.

Given that even their last four meetings have been shared 2-2, Rochus looks a crocking bet to me. In fact Rochus has won both of their last two matches 6-4, 6-2 and 7-6, 6-1

So I am going to suggest a sporting bet on Rochus, perhaps greening up at the approriate moment.

 With Andy Murray defeating Roger Federer yesterday and landing our bet, it would be nice to keep the momentum today.
