A New Sports Betting Week Begins
We set out on this sports betting week, with a goal to equal last weeks 100% sports betting record.
This week the tennis tournament is the Pacific Life Open at Indian Wells. A lot of the seeds get byes in the first round, but I think we may still have one or two juicy encounters.
The first match of interest is Clement vs Rochus. The rankings are fairly even, so it is a surprise to see Clement priced up at 2.50, more so when you consider his tennis head to head record with Rochus is 3-0. However the last victory was way back in 2004, so a note of cuation has to be adopted. However at this proce I think Clement is a good sports bet. The more cautious among you might like to trade out at the appropriate time.
The second tennis match of interest from a sports betting point of view is Melzer vs Safin. Both are rated around the same mark, but of course there is only one Marat Safin, and it is no surprise to see him priced up as favourite.
Looking at the head to head record however, Melzer leads 2-1. Melzer’s solitary defeat coming in 2004, when Marat was probably playing at his best. So at 2.16 I think Melzer represents a good tennis sports bet. Again you might like to trade out if the opportunity arises.
Good Luck with all your sports betting!
